About Me

I graduated from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Çukurova University in 1996. I completed my master's studies at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (1999) and in the Computer Systems Education program of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Selçuk University (2002). In 2009, I received my PhD from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering program of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Selçuk University, with my thesis entitled "Modeling of Diesel Engine Performance and Fuel Optimization Using Artificial Intelligence Techniques".

I began my academic career in 1999 as a research assistant at the Faculty of Technical Education, Selçuk University; I served as a lecturer from 2005 onwards, and since 2012 I have been working as a faculty member in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Technology. I served as Head of Department in 2016-2017.

My work focuses on artificial intelligence, fuzzy logic, information security and cryptology, image processing, and deep learning applications. I have taken part in numerous international education and research projects funded by the European Union.
